Donate Life North Carolina
Donate Life North Carolina is a collaborative group of organizations that promote eye, organ and tissue donation. Working together, the member organizations are directly involved in supporting donor families and facilitating organ, eye and tissue transplants across the state. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our work includes school education, Division of Motor Vehicles outreach and donor registry supervision. Our mission is to inspire all North Carolina residents to save and enhance lives by registering as organ, eye and tissue donors.
OCTOBER winner
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Congratulations to our October "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, the Make-A-Wish® Foundation! With the help of tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes to a child diagnosed with a critical illness in the United States and its territories. These granted wishes change the lives of the families and the kids they serve.

The Pretty In Pink Foundation
Congratulations to our September "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, The Pretty In Pink Foundation! The Pretty In Pink Foundation's mission is to provide uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients in North Carolina with financial assistance for quality, life-saving medical treatment. We make this happen with financial commitments through sponsorship, fundraising, donations and pledge drives that support our Champions throughout North Carolina.

Passage Home
Congratulations to our August "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, Passage Home! Passage Home's mission statement is to break the cycle of poverty for the communities they serve in Wake County. They do this by connecting families and neighborhoods to resources and opportunities; preparing people to receive their blessings. By staying true to their values and focus, they continue to lead the charge on poverty in Wake County.

Healthy Girls Save the World
Congratulations to our July "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, Healthy Girls Save the World! The mission of HGSW is to provide transformational experiences and education on proper nutrition, the benefits of physical activity, and overall healthy lifestyles so that girls will be knowledgeable and enabled to make healthy choices in their lives. HGSW organizes after-school programs and summer camps that encourage the development of healthy and balanced lifestyles for girls.

S.O.A.R. Outreach
Congratulations to our JUNE "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, S.O.A.R. Outreach! They were founded on the idea of helping those in need; promoting the following values: respect, self pride, self motivation, self confidence, and self-sufficiency. S.O.A.R. Outreach, a non-profit organization located in Raleigh, NC, assists individuals by eliminating humiliation, promoting learning, and offering hope to under-served individuals in the community.

Meals on Wheels Wake County
Congratulations to our May "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, Meals on Wheels Wake County! They deliver nutritious meals to frail, homebound senior adults and persons with disabilities of Wake County in order to improve health, reduce isolation and prevent inappropriate institutionalization and serving nutritious meals as well as providing social and educational opportunities to persons 60 years old and over in congregate dining rooms to promote independent living.

Raleigh Rescue Mission
Congratulations to our April "Win For Local Charity" contest winner, Raleigh Rescue Mission! They offer critical life-saving services like meals, emergency overnight shelter, coats and other warm clothing in the winter, plus medical care to their residents. Their goal is to help clients restore their lives through recovery services, adult education, housing locator assistance, discipleship and more, lives are transformed profoundly. In these ways and more, your support truly transforms lives and ends homelessness right here in the Greater Raleigh area.

Amazing Grace Adoptions & Orphan Care is a Christian adoption agency whose mission is to serve birthparents, orphaned & vulnerable children, and adoptive families both domestically and internationally through the Biblical model of family.
