We have been rescuing beagles since 1999 and, to date, have rescued more than 1500 beagles in North Carolina. Wanda's Little Rescues is a not for profit rescue that is based in Raleigh, NC. Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, unwanted and abandoned dachshunds from kill shelters in and around the Carolina's. We also will take in strays from the street. On occasion, we will also save a dachshund from Craigslist, to keep them from falling into the wrong hands, for unspeakable reasons. We pledge to not overlook the ones who are old, injured or ill.
