More About the Pre-Collision System

The Pre-Collision System uses an in-vehicle camera paired with a laser to help detect when there are other vehicles in front of yours.
When the system determines that a collision may occur, it sounds an alert, letting you know that you need to take action to prevent an accident. If you don’t respond quickly enough, and the Pre-Collision System anticipates contact with the other car, it will automatically apply the brakes by using Brake Assist. This quick reduction in speed can prevent an accident.
